Right now, we’re looking for an experienced Magento Developer to support a migration project for our long-term UK client.

This is a clearly defined, project-based engagement (4–6 weeks), focused on migrating an existing Magento 1 store to Magento 2 and preparing the new store for production launch.

The client operates in the interior design industry (designer wallpapers & home décor), and we have been maintaining their Magento 1 store for years. Now it’s time for a full migration.

We’re ideally looking for a full-stack profile, but a strong backend-oriented developer is absolutely welcome.

• Collaborate with 2 developers, QA, and PDM.

• Strong commercial experience with Magento 2 (full-stack or backend)

• Hands-on experience with migrations and integrations

• Ability to analyze legacy solutions and reimplement them properly

• Solid understanding of Magento architecture (modules, DI, plugins, etc.)

• Comfort working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven project

• Experience with AI code assistants (e.g., Copilot, Claude, Codex) used responsibly

• Full-time availability (min. 40h/week) for 4-6 weeks

• Availability to start ASAP

• English at a communicative level (nice to have; not a strict requirement).

• Experience with Hyvä Theme (large plus, but not mandatory)

• Experience with complex integrations (ERP, external services, payments, stock sync)

• English at a communicative level (client is UK-based, so it’s helpful for day-to-day cooperation)

• Production deployment experience

• Strong backend focus with ability to support frontend when needed.
